Woodinville Wineries are a great experience less than 30 mins from downtown Seattle. Be sure to visit the peacocks roaming the grounds at Chateau Ste Michelle and cross the street to the lovely Columbia Winery (where all our wedding wine will come from). Beer lovers might also enjoy visiting the Redhook Brewery, right nextdoor.

The Seattle waterfront is full of exciting things to do. Argosy Harbor Cruises and the Seattle Aquarium (otters, sea lions and octopi, oh my!) are both fantastic and it's also lovely just walking around the piers.

Art lovers might like to visit the Seattle Art Museum (SAM), which will house a special Gauguin exhibit the week of the wedding. The Olympic Sculpture Park and the Asian Art Museum are other great options.

Of course, no trip to Seattle would be complete without a visit to the world-famous Pike Place Market. Don't miss Beecher's cheese, the original Starbucks shop, delicious Russian piroshky and lots of other amazing food. Visit in the morning and come hungry - free samples are everywhere! During the weekends you can also browse many local handmade craft stalls.
